Paul Thomas RIBO

Paul Thomas is an Associate Broker with concencration in both Personal and Business Insurance. He has worked in several offices in different capacities from new business administration to onsite quoting for Group Insurance accounts. Paul obtained his RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) license in 1993. Given Paul’s experience and communication skills and has taught the RIBO Level 1 licensing course for the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario (IBAO) at Sheridan College for one rotation and has privately tutored individuals since 2004. It was primarily the concepts of utmost good faith and integrity, as well as the overall precision required, that originally attracted Paul to the industry—a reflection of his own core values. These values have been passed down to several of Paul’s family members who have at one time or another joined the industry, including his daughter Sarah who after working with two other firms has recently joined Brokers Trust.

Paul’s favorite sports include fishing, scuba diving, weight lifting and swimming. His interests include, but not limited to, geopolitics and economics. He has experience in family law, small claims court, and corporate law as well as cabinet making and renovations. Paul’s taste in music is somewhat eclectic depending on the moment ranging from Johnny Cash and Tom Jones to Nine Inch Nails and AC DC, which he enjoys when road tripping to his favorite destination: Florida.
