Commercial Lines Technical Service Representative

We’re hiring! We’re looking for a Commercial Lines Technical Service Representative to work closely with our Senior Account Managers in their day-to-day responsibilities. Job Description:

  • Assisting a team of Accounts Managers with management of each portfolio comprised of existing accounts
  • Assist in Renewal and Remarketing workflows to ensure timely and accurate completion
  • Following up for processing of new business as ordered, ability to compare and review documents upon issuance
  • Responsible for, updating information, negotiating with insurers to obtain best possible terms for our insureds
  • Responding to Customer/ Insurer queries and requests, eg., certificate of insurance, statement of values forms, lienholder/lessor/mortgagee requests
  • Detailed documentation of all calls, correspondence, and transactions in system activities and/or file; updating and maintaining screens as accurately as possible
  • Ability to communicate with insurance carriers regarding renewals and endorsements
  • Managing payment notices with insurers, clients and Producers


  • 2 years commercial lines experience or 4 years in the industry
  • RIBO licensed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Commercial Auto and Property
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work within a Team
  • Ability to step into Account Manager Role when necessary
  • Strong Problem Solver
