Administrative Associate

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

An administrative associate’s role is to provide support within their brokerage by assisting the Account Managers and Producers. The main focus is data entry within the Insurance company portals. This a great foundation role to start your career and learn more about the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Input data into the brokerage management systems (BMS)
  • Upload new business applications and endorsements in insurer portals
  • Follow up on applications and transactions uploaded to ensure processed timely and correctly
  • Daily electronic data interchange (EDI) download on a rotating schedule system
  • EDI document distribution
  • Reception relief duties

Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiple insurance company portals
  • Experience with Applied Epic and Applied Rating
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • A team player with a sound work ethic
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an insurance brokerage environment with multiple insurance markets
  • RIBO license is an asset
