PRESS RELEASE – BROKERS TRUST CELEBRATES MILESTONE 60TH ANNIVERSARY
Ontario-based insurance brokerage marks anniversary with announcement that will benefit the communities they work in
Toronto, ON – Insurance brokerage, Brokers Trust is celebrating their 60th anniversary of business operations in Ontario this year. The independent insurance brokerage, that specializes in personal, commercial, business and life insurance, first opened their doors in 1963 with one office on College Street in Toronto, Ontario and now operates multiple locations across the province including, Concord, Mississauga, London and Ottawa.
“Sixty years of history is quite the achievement. To mark the milestone, Brokers Trust is embarking on a year-long celebration, beginning with the launch of a community giving program called Brokers Trust Community Project. The program will encourage employees to donate a collective 60 days for 60 years. All employees on the Brokers Trust team will be given the opportunity to donate their time to a charitable cause in one of the local communities that Brokers Trust does business—with the goal of working with as many charities as possible when project concludes in 2024.

The now established brokerage has roots that map back to a small office in downtown Toronto on College Street—it was here that Ventresca-Bertolin Insurance—now Brokers Trust—was born. The family brokerage, founded in 1963 by Bruno Bertolin, and later joined by Mario Giansante, Fred Giansante, and Larry Scenna, opened their doors with impressive values—a dedication to commitment, trust, family and putting customers first. Today, the brokerage is led by the second generation of family-first owners, just one of the proof-points that these values are still at the heart of everything Brokers Trust continues to do.
